Directions
Mohican Lodge & Conference Center is located in north central Ohio, approximately 20 miles southeast of Mansfield, Ohio - near Loudonville. Following are driving directions from common points of origin, including area airports.
It is strongly advised to follow the directions below instead of relying on a GPS device or an online map website. GPS devices and Websites do not take in to account the road numbering system in Ashland County, which will often lead to incorrect directions. Please bring a map along and call the front desk if you need more detailed directions.
From Akron
(75 miles, approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes)
- Take I-76 West to I-71 South
- Take I-71 South to Exit 165.
- Take exit 165, State Route 97 East through Bellville and Butler.
- At the stoplight in Butler continue straight on 97 another 6 miles to McCurdy Road*.
From Downtown Cleveland

- Take I-71 South to Exit 165.
- Take exit 165, State Route 97 East through Bellville and Butler.
- At the stoplight in Butler continue straight on 97 another 6 miles to McCurdy Road*.
From Cleveland Hopkins International Airport

- Follow signs from airport to Interstate 71 South
- Take I-71 South to Exit 165.
- Take exit 165, State Route 97 East through Bellville and Butler.
- At the stoplight in Butler continue straight on 97 another 6 miles to McCurdy Road*.
From Downtown Cincinnati

- Take Interstate 270 North (Cleveland) to Interstate 71 North
- Take I-71 North to exit 165, State Route 97 East through Bellville and Butler.
- At the stoplight in Butler continue straight on SR 97 another 6 miles to McCurdy Road*.
From Mansfield

- Follow State Route 13 South to Bellville.
- Turn left on State Route 97 East towards Butler.
- At the stoplight in Butler continue straight on SR 97 another 6 miles to McCurdy Road*.
From New Philadelphia/Interstate 77 (exit 83)
(55 miles, approximately 1 hour 15 minutes)
- Follow State Route 39 West to Loudonville.
- Turn left on State Route 3 at the main square in Loudonville.
- Turn right on State Route 97 West
- Take SR 97 four miles to McCurdy Road.
- Turn right. Take McCurdy two miles to Goon Road.
- Turn right on Goon Road and go 1/4 mile.
- Turn left into our driveway, going 1 1/2 miles to the lodge.
From Toledo
(125 miles, approximately 2 hours 10 minutes)
- Follow I-75 South to State Route 15 South
- Follow State Route 15 to US Route 30 East
- Take US 30 East through Mansfield to I-71 South.
- From I-71 take exit 165, State Route 97 East through Bellville and Butler.
- At the stoplight in Butler continue straight on SR 97 another 6 miles to McCurdy Road*.
From Detroit, MI

- Follow I-75 South through Toledo to State Route 15 South
- Follow State Route 15 to US Route 30 East
- Take US 30 East through Mansfield to I-71 South.
- From I-71 take exit 165, State Route 97 East through Bellville and Butler.

From Pittsburgh, PA

- Follow I-279 North to I-79 North to I-76 West (PA Turnpike)

- Turn left. Take McCurdy two miles to Goon Road.
- Turn right on Goon Road and go 1/4 mile.
- Turn left into our driveway, going 1 1/2 miles to the lodge.
